- Was thinking about how Iāve embraced using a number of different apps for different needs, rather than trying to make every single thing work in one tool. And I was wondering why thatās so much easier for me now than it used to be, and I think itās because Iām seeing my device, or browser, or my phoneās home screen as the all-in-one toolā¦
- For example, I track my habits and āquantifiedā data in Airtable; it doesnāt take me any more clicks or time or effort to open my (bookmarked) Base and fill in data for the day than it would in Obsidian. I have two windows open, but data entry isnāt hindered by things being in two separate apps.
- 2024-06-24 ā I think itās worth keeping things āin one placeā when data needs to be linked, or if alternative tools donāt have sufficient backup or archive features.
